Why Everyone Suddenly Feels Tired All the Time
There’s a strange kind of exhaustion people are carrying lately. Not the “I need sleep” type, but the kind where even replying to a message feels like work. We wake up tired, scroll while tired, work while tired, and somehow still feel guilty for resting.
Part of it comes from constantly consuming information. Our brains were never designed to process hundreds of opinions, videos, trends, and notifications every single day. Even when we’re “relaxing,” we’re still absorbing noise.
Another reason is the pressure to optimize every aspect of life. Productivity became a lifestyle. Suddenly hobbies need to become businesses, workouts need to become transformations, and rest needs to become “intentional recovery.”
People are not lazy. Most are simply overstimulated.
Maybe the solution isn’t waking up earlier or downloading another productivity app. Maybe it’s learning how to be bored again. To sit without reaching for the phone. To stop turning every moment into content.
Being constantly available is exhausting. And for many people, peace has become unfamiliar.
